Please refer to the rate structure comparison sheet. The average residential water rate has increased from $9.25 per month to $13.00 an increase of 40.54%
The City of Goddard regrets the need for this increase and in spite of the significance of this increase hopes to maintain the lowest water rate in the Wichita-metro area. The current base rate is $4 which is $1.50 lower than 1988 rates. The increased cost to the consumer is reflected in the number of gallons consumed.
